A vision statement is sometimes called a picture of your organization in the future but it goes deeper than that. A vision statement is supposed to inspire and provide the framework for all strategic planning. A vision statement may apply to an entire organization or to a smaller group within the organization. Whether for all or part of an organization, the vision statement answers the question, "Where do we want to go?" A vision statement articulates our dreams and hopes for our church. It reminds us of what we are trying to accomplish.
KCPC's vision is primarily focussed on the intangible qualities our church should have that could facilitate the effective ministry of the gospel. The tangible outcomes of these qualtities will, we trust, be according to the gracious move of God's Spirit in his church.
As such, we strive to create a church environment:
"Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth…"1 John 3:17-19 (NLT)
